House of Arras is likely to be Australia’s best sparkling producer, certainly amongst the top. They work relentlessly to make these great sparkling wines in a traditional method and from the classic champagne grapes. Located in the cool area of Pipers River, northern Tasmania Ed Carr is the winemaker. Having received several awards which truly reflect his pursuit for excellence, passion, skill and determination to make sparkling wine as good as Champagne and on some occasions, better!
Why do we like it?
We love it because of the elegance of these sparkling wines. Not only the rose but the entire range. They are fresh, clean, even pristine with several layers of flavours. This Rose is very possibly my favourite of the range. Fresh red fruit such as strawberry, raspberry alongside brioche and toast. Look, if you are feeling romantic for the weekend and want to prepare your special someone a breakfast in bed…try serving it with this rose for an extra special treat.
