Paul Pujol, who has been the winemaker since the inaugural vintage in 2005, brings a wealth of experience from working in France during the off seasons over the past four years. He has honed his skills at Kuentz-Bar in Alsace and Comte de Vogüé in Burgundy, giving him an excellent foundation in crafting aromatic, textured whites and some of the finest expressions of Pinot Noir. The grapes were sourced from the remarkable north-facing slopes of Chinaman’s Terrace in the Bendigo sub-region of Central Otago. A fantastic and very charming Pinot Noir with a great scent of dark cherry, redcurrant and sweet spice. Almost a sweet start with a stunning savoury finish.
