After an immersive exploration of California's wine offerings, Pax discovered Alder Springs Vineyard, a place where he felt a cosmic connection. Opting for the "untapped potential" of Syrah, Pax Wines' bold choice resulted in a line-up of big, rich expressions that hailed from cool climate vineyards in Sonoma County and Mendocino. These sought-after Syrah’s swiftly established Pax as a premier producer in California. And trust us, they are amazing!
Why do we like it?
This Syrah is neither too big, nor too small, but surely is fantastic. Packed with fruit, but never sweet or overbearing. One hundred percent Syrah grown on organically farmed hillsides in Sonoma County along with classic winemaking creates this delicious classically styled with blackberries aromas, slight black pepper, but also incredibly fine and silky tannins.
