The 2023 Domaine du Trapadis Côte du Rhône Red ‘Petite Côte’ is made by Helen Durand in Rasteau, abiodynamic gem from the esteemed Domaine du Trapadis. Based in the heart of the Rasteau appellation of Rhône, Domaine du Trapadis has been owned and run by the Charavin family since 1850! Helen Durand, the current owner, is the fourth generation of the Charavin family to grow grapes. This 100%Grenache-dominant blend is fermented usingindigenous yeasts inconcrete vats, then aged for freshness and fruit expression.
Why do we like it?
It offers a vibrant bouquet of red fruits like raspberry and cherry, with hints of garrigue and menthol for freshness. The palate is well-structured, with soft tannins and a balanced finish, showcasing the domaine's commitment to elegance and terroir.
