Recaredo is one of the founding members of Corpinnat, the breakaway classification created by a small group of top Penedès producers determined to make traditional-method sparkling wine to a far stricter, more artisanal standard than mainstream Cava. Founded in 1924, the estate farms biodynamically and remains family-owned, focused entirely on quality over volume.
Why do we like it?
Terrers Brut Nature is made with zero dosage, letting the wine's natural acidity and the local Xarel-lo, Macabeu and Parellada grapes speak for themselves. Expect bright citrus and orchard fruit, a fine, persistent mousse, and the toasty, bready complexity that comes from extended lees ageing. This is serious, vinous Spanish sparkling wine — a world away from everyday Cava, and a genuine alternative to Champagne for those who want real complexity without the price tag.
