Niepoort, established in 1842 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, is a renowned winery under fifth-generation Dirk Niepoort. Why do we like it?
The 2021 Niepoort Redoma Tinto, a blend of Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca, and others, is fermented in lagares and aged 20 months in French oak. It offers vibrant blackberry, violet, and graphite notes with spicy, mineral undertones. Firm tannins, fresh acidity, and a structured finish deliver elegance and depth.
