The family estate dates to 1929. The history of their family is intimately linked to that of the village of Gigondas. For three generations, they have dedicated all their know-how to the service of this exceptional terroir, revealing and highlighting the prestigious appellation and other crus of the Rhône Valley. With 90 years of history surrounding a united and passionate family, they now aim to write a new chapter, perpetuating the Amadieu spirit by infusing a touch of modernity.

Whether it's exceptional vintages, reliable classics, or exciting discoveries, Pierre Amadieu cuvées stand as elegant and balanced expressions, the fruits of their labor as winegrowers. The Roulepierre or rolling stones name given to the wine reflects the stony clay-limestone soils, all hand-picked. Aged in 100% stainless steel to preserve freshness in the wine. It has intense fruit aromas of blackberry, plum and dried roses. It is full bodied on the palate with hints of savoury herbs such as rosemary and wild garrigue.
