Dave Fletcher is an Australian winemaker who relocated to Barbaresco to work alongside some of the region's most celebrated producers before launching his own label. Working as a small négociant, Fletcher sources fruit from across different Barbaresco vineyards, blending each vintage to capture the very best of what the appellation has to offer in that particular year.
Why do we like it?
"Recta Pete" is Fletcher's classic Barbaresco blend, changing composition each vintage to chase quality over consistency of formula. Expect bright red cherry and rose petal aromatics, the firm, structured tannins that define great Nebbiolo, and real complexity from fruit sourced across multiple top sites.
