Why do we like it?
Bullnose is Te Mata's flagship Syrah, and it's widely regarded as one of New Zealand's finest expressions of the variety — elegant, peppery and savoury in the Northern Rhône tradition rather than big and jammy. Expect dark plum and blackberry fruit, white pepper, violets and a subtle smoky, meaty complexity, all wrapped in fine, polished tannins. A wine of real pedigree that consistently rivals far pricier Syrah from around the world.
