Why do we like it?
Vapolicella is a beautiful region with rolling hills, steep vineyards and plenty of greenery. The local varieties of the region are little seen elsewhere but they make a style that is so recognisable. With aromas of sour cherry, raspberries and red flowers. The Ripasso is a traditional style made by using fermented grapes with the skins and lees left over from making Amarone, so a rich style, warm and generous.
