The WSET Level 1 Award in Wine is a light introduction to wine, suitable for those starting a wine career or pursuing an interest in wine.
For individuals new to wine study, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. With a Master Sommelier guiding you, you’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings. Upon successful completion

There is a $120 fee to resit the exam should you not pass and a $50 fee if you don’t turn up for the exam. These fees are charged to cover the cost of the exam papers. Should you not be able to attend due to reasons beyond your control please contact us and we will do our best to come to a mutually agreeable situation.
